Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing and policy-making body of Wheatfield Township and is empowered by law to make decisions necessary to fulfill the duties of local government.

The Board of Supervisors meet at the township building on the first Monday of each Month at 7:00pm.

Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is made up of five board members responsible for reviewing development plans to ensure they comply with local zoning and subdivision/land development ordinances.  The planning commission is responsible for site plans, subdivisions, condition use and rezoning.

The Planning Commission meets at the township building on the second Tuesday of each Month at 7:00pm

Zoning Hearing Board

The zoning hearing board is made up of five board members responsible for handling variances, special exceptions, appeal for interpretations and protest appeals in regards to the zoning ordinance.  Their decisions are made by listening to evidence presented in hearings.

Park & Recreation Board

The Park and Recreation Board is the backbone of our community park.  The board is made up of six board members responsible for providing equal access to recreational activities. Wagner park provides a shared space for connecting with friends, neighbors, and families.  Check out our recreation page to learn more about the park.

The Park & Recreation Board meets at the township building on the 3rd Tuesday of each Month at 6:30pm.

Citizens Advisory Committee

The Citizen advisory committee is made up of seven volunteer members responsible for discussing the proposed land dedication ordinance and how it may better suit township residents and conserve open space and natural resources.
